Naprapaths are connective tissue specialists and naprapathic care is covered by most private health plan insurers under naturotherapy services. To bill insurers doctors of naprapathy must become members of an association that is accepted by the insurers. There are already a number of associations in Canada that accept the doctor of naprapathy (DN) graduates of our two universities in Spain & the United States.
The Federation of Alternative Medicine (FMA) is another national naturotherapy association in Canada (based in Quebec) that informed National University of Medical Sciences (Spain & USA) that they accept our DN graduates. This association is accepted by most insurers in Canada including the national Blue Cross.
