A Poem for NUMSS President

A poem written by one of Dr Pourgol's students.

Why I chose to study osteopathy at NUMSS

My name is Dr Jean Menard. I choose the program Doctor of osteopathy for many reasons , the curriculum interested me in a sense that it complemented my education in kinesiology . Also since I have a busy practice the on line lectures were the best compromise because I could have made my own time table and studied at my pace. I am very satisfied of the content of the program it has attracted my interest strongly and motivated me to get out of my comfort zone. Since my graduation I give a better service to my patients and I have personally found a missing link in achieving my search for the ideal treatment.

Online vs On-campus Education

Which one is better? The answer may surprise you!

Here is a research article by the US Department of Education that indicates online students perform better than on-campus students. "The meta-analysis found that on average, students in online learning conditions performed modestly better than those receiving face-to-face instruction."

We teach online as well as on-campus education. However our on-campus students have full access to all our online video lectures as well.

A post by a chiropractor & osteopath (NUMSS Student)

A post by chiropractor & osteopath Dr Richard S.W. Pang, DC, DO a student of National University of Medical Sciences (Spain) in Singapore:

,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,What I liked most about the course, Doctor of Osteopathy DO (Spain), was the Business Management section. In this part, the lectures are given by, Dr. Shahin Pourgol........... When he talks, you listen. He is an extremely passionate and motivated person and teaches how other Manual Osteopaths can be highly successful practitioners and entrepreneurs like him. The reality is, as a healthcare professional, you are running and operating a business. So you need to be a savvy businessman (businesswoman).......
