Our degree is valid in all countries and graduates can use manual osteopathic techniques such as cranial osteopathy, visceral manipulation, osteoarticular techniques, muscle energy techniques, balanced ligamentous tension, positional facilitated release, strain/counterstrain, Still’s, manual mechanotherapy, etc, everywhere including Canada, USA and Europe.  We have more technique instructors than any other school of osteopathy.

National University of Medical Sciences (Spain) offers 33 online health related degree programs, including a 100% online DPT (Doctor of Physical Therapy). For those interested in a campus based or online diploma program in manual osteopathy, our sister school, National Academy of Osteopathy (Canada) offers a 6 months program in osteopathic manual practice for physical therapists.

Physiotherapists interested to study in-campus can attend the York University Heights campus of NAO in Toronto. Optional practical technique classes (for online students) are also provided in NUMSS campus in Madrid and elsewhere.

We have graduated many manual osteopaths in Canada in the past 5 years. Over half of the manual osteopaths in Canada are our alumni (NAO & NUMSS).

Our alumni are permitted to work in all Canadian provinces, American states, and all European, African & Asian countries (In Canada & USA our graduates must call themselves manual osteopaths or osteopathic manual practitioners as the term osteopath is reserved for American style osteopathic physicians who also do surgery and prescribe medications).

NUMSS is accepted as a “University Outside Canada” by the Canadian government. As such our Canadian students can receive up to $5000 in tuition and textbooks tax credits from the Canadian Revenue Agency.  Our tuition is also tax deductible as a business expense.

Manual osteopathy is one of the top 25 professions in Canada as reported by the CIBC. There is zero unemployment in this profession. Average income is $90,000/yr (compared to $72,000 per year for physiotherapists in Canada).
