The
word "osteopathy" is not regulated in any of provinces in Canada. The
word "osteopath" is regulated. That is why our graduates are permitted
to use the word "osteopathy" in their clinic names or call what they do
"osteopathy". The term "osteopath" is regulated in Ontario and some
provinces but not all.
In Quebec and some other provinces our graduates can call themselves "osteopath". In provinces where the term "osteopath" is regulated our graduates call themselves manual osteopaths or osteopathic manual practitioners.
