The province of Newfoundland and Labrador in Canada had no manual osteopathy association until this week. For the first time in history an association has been set up in this Canadian province and manual osteopath, Dr Matt Gibbons, DOMP, DO has been chosen as its president.Dr Gibbons has a diploma in osteopathic manual practice from National Academy of Osteopathy (Canada) and a doctor of osteopathy degree from National University of Medical Sciences (Spain).
We are proud of Dr Gibbons and are sure under his direction the Newfoundland and Labrador Osteopathic Association (NLOA) will promote the profession effectively.
