ANA accepts our university

President of American Naprapathic Association (ANA - http://www.naprapathy.org/Home.html), Dr Wayne Cichowicz, DN just informed us that in the June 2019 meeting, ANA members voted to accept the Doctor of Naprapathy (DN) alumni of National University of Medical Sciences for membership.

ANA (founded in 1907) is the first and oldest naprapathic association in the world and it is an honour for our university to be accepted by them.

Thank you ANA and thank you Dr Cichowicz for accepting NUMSS alumni.

American College of Physical Medicine

We are happy to announce that Alumni of National University of Medical Sciences (Spain) and National University of Medical Sciences (USA) can now join the American College of Physical Medicine.

The American College of Physical Medicine is a medical association open now to manual osteopaths and other health professionals.

Coming Soon: THE 5 DIAPHRAGMS

President of European Osteopathic Association, Professor Bruno Bordoni, DPT, DO, PhD who is one of our alumni and a member of our board of governors at National University of Medical Sciences, is in the process of preparing a series of video lectures for our students on how to palpate, evaluate, and test the 5 diaphragms (Dr. Bordoni & Dr. Zanier (2015) assert that there are five diaphragms: the diaphragm muscle, the pelvic floor, the floor of the mouth, the thoracic outlet, and the tentorium of the cerebellum.)

We are grateful that this distinguished osteopath / physiotherapist, who is a world famous researcher with many articles to his name, has accepted to become a faculty member of National University of Medical Sciences.

2019 Iranian Physiotherapy Association Election Result

NUMSS new course: MSK Diagnostic Ultrasound

Radiologist, Dr Rozina Badal Munir, MBBS, RPVI, RVT, RDMS, POCUS, FASE has joined National University of Medical Sciences as a faculty member to teach a full course on musculoskeletal diagnostic radiology.

We welcome Professor Munir to our university. This program in diagnostic ultrasound will be added to the NUMSS degree programs in osteopathy, physical therapy and naprapathy.
