 NUMSS (Spain) president, Dr. Shawn Pourgol, MBA, DC, DO, DN, PhD is now a licensed chiropractor in Spain. Dr. Pourgol needed this license to operate a chiropractic internship clinic for his new university in Spain, the Seville University of Health & Medicine, a campus based, in-person university. SevilleU will offer a doctor of chiropractic (DC) program as well as some continuing educational programs in the field of chiropractic medicine.

Average Income of Osteopaths in Spain: $126,000 per year

 

Many osteopaths move to Spain as the quality of life in Spain is one of the highest in the world. Spain is truly a paradise on earth. Year round great weather, amazing food, and happy people are some reasons why so many osteopaths move to Spain.

While Spain is not a wealthy country compared to the United States and the Western Europe, the cost of living is less therefore higher net income. Additionally osteopathy is a lucrative profession in Spain. The average annual income of osteopaths in Spain is 86,000 EURO (about $126,000 in Canadian dollars).

Those who want a peaceful religious country to raise a family, those who do not wish to spend 9 months of the year indoors due to cold, those who love 300 days of sunshine, the salty air and the Mediterranean sea, those who enjoy exotic veggies and fruits, those who enjoy beautiful houses, those who enjoy 1000s of years of history & culture, those who enjoy beautiful nature and happy people, & those who wish to enjoy a lucrative career as an osteopath should think about moving to Spain.

Spain has some of the easiest permanent residency visa programs in the world to the point that anyone who stays here illegally for 3 years can get a permanent resident status if they find an official job!!! (I do not recommend this of course as it is not correct to stay illegally in any country). This year they even introduced an easy to get digital nomad visa.

On a side note, the graduates of our doctoral programs at National University of Medical Sciences (USA & Spain) can use the title of "Dr - doctor" in Spain and offer full scope of practice there including reading x-rays, offering medical diagnosis and performing high velocity, low amplitude (HVLE) techniques.

Communication with National University of Medical Sciences (Spain & USA)

National University of Medical Sciences (USA) and National University of Medical Sciences (Spain) are online health related universities registered in the US and Spain respectively. They provide online health related degree programs. They are two independent universities, even though they share their admissions office and staffs. 

The admissions office of both National University of Medical Sciences in USA and Spain is located in Panama City, Panama. Both universities are online and have no campuses. The practical technique classes of both universities are held in Panama. The graduation day ceremonies are also held in Panama. NUMSS (USA) and NUMSS (Spain) do not offer any classes at National Academy of Osteopathy campus in Toronto. 

The universities have no offices at National Academy of Osteopathy campus in Toronto. None of our employees work at the NAO campus in Toronto. No information can be provided to anyone about our degree programs by anyone at NAO campus.
