Online Animal Osteopathy Fellowship Program

Online Animal Osteopathy for Veterinarians & other Health Professionals

We offer a postgraduate fellowship specialty program in animal osteopathy, through online, on-demand video lectures.
The program is one semester (6 months, 560 hours). Tuition is $3850 for the full program.

Graduates can join the newly formed Canadian Animal Osteopathic Association. Animal manual osteopath, Professor Jennifer Pottruff, BSc(O), DBM, DO (Spain) is the first president of CAOA. Dr Pottruff is a faculty member of the National Universities of Medical Sciences (USA).

Classes start twice per year (February and September of each year).

Animal osteopathy is rapidly gaining recognition with pet owners. It has been popular for quite some time in the equine industry, particularly with racing horses.

What makes animal osteopathy unique is that our techniques are gentle, low speed and low force. We avoid using high velocity low amplitude techniques that can be aggravating or painful for animals. Instead we focus on low force, low speed osteoarticular and soft tissue techniques that have been shown to be very effective in treating musculoskeletal conditions and are tolerated quite well by canine and equine.

Please request our information package and academic calendar by sending an email to admissions@numss.us. You can also visit www.numss.us for information about our US based university.
