We wish to give our special thanks to Dr Gholamreza Daghighi, president of the physiotherapy department of the Grand Oil Hospital in Ahwaz for coming to see us here in Toronto today.
Dr Daghighi is a graduate of the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program of National University of Medical Sciences (Spain) in Iran as well as being the person who helped us set up the NUMSS (Spain) on-campus DPT program in the city of Ahwaz in Iran.
Over 50 of our DPT students in the province of Khozestan, Iran (many are his employees at the hospital) were referred to us for DPT education by Dr Daghighi.
We are grateful to him for expanding DPT education in Iran.
