Thank you very much, Dr. Pourgol, truly. I sincerely appreciate all your advice and your work to give us the best means to improve our odds to succeed in this new path. As you said, you will always be part of the change in our lives, an important part, let me complete, and I will always be grateful to you for all the knowledge that you have transferred to us but, most of all, for your devotion as a teacher and your engagement to your students to make successful people of us. What title can I use after earning a DBM?

After successfully graduating from the doctor of botanical medicine (DBM) of NUMSS you can call yourself a doctor of botanical medicine in most countries. However in some countries such as Canada & USA the title of "Dr" is regulated and cannot be used by our graduates. In these countries you can mention that you earned a DBM - Doctor of Botanical Medicine as your designation after your name. But you must call yourself a "botanical medicine specialist", and refrain from using "Dr" before your name.

NHAA accepts NUMSS DBM

We are happy to announce that the National Herbalists Association of Australia (NHAA) accepts for membership the graduates of the DBM (Doctor of Botanical Medicine) of NUMSS (National University of Medical Sciences).

NUMSS students and graduates interested in membership to NHAA should contact them directly at http://www.nhaa.org.au/join-us.
