NUMSS Student Chosen as one of the Top 50 Physiotherapists of 2015

Dr Mohammadnia, one of the DPT students of National University of Medical Sciences (Gilan) in Gilan, was chosen to present a seminar at the 26^th annual congress of Iranian Physiotherapy Association.  

This distinguished health professional was also chosen as one of the top 50 Iranian physiotherapists of 2015.

NUMSS DO Student Treats Prime Minister

Professor Manish Arora, one of the most distinguished physiotherapists in India, and a Doctor of Osteopathy student of National University of Medical Sciences (Spain) has been asked to offer treatment to honourable Sh Lokendra Bahadur Chand, four time prime minister of Nepal. 

Dr Arora is working with a number of other physiotherapists to establish the post professional DPT (Doctor of Physical Therapy) of NUMSS in India. 

NUMSS offers an online DPT program worldwide with optional practical technique classes. However in countries such as India, Iran & Bangladesh the practical technique classes are mandatory.

NUMSS DO Student Invited to Canadian Taekwondo Tournament

Manual osteopath, Jay David, who is a National University of Medical Sciences doctor of osteopathy (DO) student, has attended the Canadian Open Taekwondo championship held in Toronto on February 2015 as a ringside manual osteopath to help injured athletes.

Jay is also THE FIRST manual osteopath in Canada to ever be chosen as a ringside physician assistant in a Canadian Boxing Tournament.

Canadian Government Accepts NUMSS as a Foreign University

We are happy to announce that our Canadian students can now receive Tuition, Education, and Textbook tax credits from Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).

To receive this tax credit our students must submit to CRA the TL11A form (Tuition, Education, and Textbook Amounts Certificate – University Outside Canada) along with their annual tax return.

Students should contact the National University of Medical Sciences (Spain) admissions office and ask a copy of signed and completed TL11A be emailed to them.

This is such great news as it would potentially save thousands of dollars for NUMSS Canadian students.
